Dr.B.R.Amdedkar's Birth Anniversary on 14th April:

Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar 14 April 1891 – 6 December 1956), popularly also known as Babasaheb, was an Indian jurist, political leader, philosopher, anthropologist, historian, orator, economist, teacher, editor, prolific writer, revolutionary and a revivalist for Buddhism in India. He was also the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. In 2012 he was chosen greatest Indian after Mahatma Gandhi in a nationwide poll held by History TV and CNN-IBN.
Born into a poor Mahar (considered an Untouchable caste) family, Ambedkar campaigned against social discrimination, the system of Chaturvarna – the categorisation of Hindu society into four varnas – and the Hindu caste system. He converted to Buddhism and is also credited with providing a spark for the transformation of hundreds of thousands of Dalits or untouchables to Theravada Buddhism. Ambedkar was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, in 1990.[5]
Overcoming numerous social and financial obstacles, Ambedkar became one of the first Dalit (untouchables) to obtain a college education in India. Eventually earning a law degree and doctorates for his study and research in law, economics and political science from Columbia University and the London School of Economics, Ambedkar gained a reputation as a scholar and practised law for a few years, later campaigning by publishing journals advocating political rights and social freedom for India's untouchables.
He is regarded as a Bodhisattva by some Indian Buddhists, though he never claimed himself to be a Bodhisattva. Ambedkar said at a public function in 1956, while he was converting, that, "accepting Buddhism does not only mean getting into new religion it means entering into new form of life where everybody has responsibility to cultivate wisdom, compassion and morality in this life moments, buddha`s dhamma is here to guide and protect humanity, what we have to do is to strive for creating a moral order.
 Pydimaari Venkata Subba Rao: The composer of our National Pledge :
 (The long forgotten legend )
"India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters..." This famous national pledge recited by schoolchildren was composed in Visakhapatnam by then district treasury officer, Pydimarri Venkata Subba Rao, a native of Anneparthy village in Nalgonda, 50 years ago in 1962.
The original pledge composed in Telugu, first heard in a school in Visakhapatnam in 1963, was later translated into English, Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and various other vernacular languages and incorporated as the national pledge to be recited on the Republic Day in 1965. The author was a multi-faceted personality and a polyglot having achieved mastery in Sanskrit, Telugu, English and Arabic. He wrote on various subjects, including naturopathy besides authoring many books in Telugu, including a popular novel, 'Kalabhairavudu'.
Interestingly, the author was reportedly unaware of the nation-wide presence of the pledge till he heard his granddaughter read it out from her book. The National Pledge is treated on par with the National Anthem and the National Song and deserves to be commemorated.

Online Application for Pension and GPF Final withdrawal 

 Andhra Pradesh employees can apply to their pension online and they can withdraw their final GPF at ag.ap.nic.in. The ag.ap.nic.in is a site of principal accountant general (A&E) official website. The retired employees of AP can withdraw their final pension and GPF online.

How to Apply AP Pension Online and GPF:

1.       For retired employees of Andhra Pradesh (AP) state government can apply for final pension and GPF by logging in to the official website ag.ap.nic.in.
2.       Select the option "online application for pension and GPF final withdrawal"
3.       Enter all the required details by them like employee ID, date of birth and etc. and click on ok button
4.       After clicking the ok button the applicant will see a window which he required to fill.
5.       After the completion of online application for withdrawal of final pension and GPF can get a registration ID which he have to keep it for future use.

School toilets maintenance by Cook cum Helpers - Rs 500/- for this extra work (Rc no. 185/MDM/2012, Dt.06/04/2013)

All the District Educational Officers in the State are hereby requested to
instruct the HMs of the schools to entrust the work of maintaining toilets in their
schools to the Cook cum Helper engaged for Mid Day Meal Scheme and pay an extra
amount of Rs.500/- to the Cook cum Helper from the amount of RVM School/
Maintenance Grant available with the schools. In schools where more than one CCH is
working, the senior most CCH will be paid Rs.500/- for this extra work. They shall
clean the toilets twice daily and keep the toilets clean.
MDM time during Half Day school session at 11.00 am- RC No. 100/MDM/2013 of C&DSE,HYD, Dt. 06/04/2013

The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited
to the reference read above and they are instructed to change the MDM timings
during the half day schools to 11.00 am so that the children do not remain hungry
for a long period of time. For the schools where examination centre for 10th
Class exams are there, the MDM is to be served before starting of school i.e.,
scheduled for 1.00 to 5.00 P.M. working hours.
Instructions regarding  Drees code and use of cell phones - RC No 138/E1-1/2013

 HMs/Teachers should not wear Jeans pants, 8 pocket/4 pocket pants, T-shirts,  Round neck T-shirts and flop flop shoes etc. And should not use cell phones in class rooms / instructional hours. Students should not be allowed to use cell phones in class rooms .

Guidelines for Rationalisation as per U DISE data- Redeployment of DSC 2012 teachers to needy schools (Rc No.113/IC-2012, Dt 19-03-2013)
 The Commissioner & Director of School Education, AP, Hyderabad vide Proc. Rc.No.113/IC-1,dt.19.03.2013 has informed that, as per the U-DISE 2012-13 data, there are many number of schools where there is no enrolment and many number of schools without teachers.
     The Director also stated that, Govt in G.O.Ms.No.43,Finance Department, dt.20.02.2013 has sanctioned 10917 teacher posts to Primary & UP Schools to comply with the Right to Education (RTE) act. 

     The Director further issued instructions to position the required number of SGTs as per RTE norms, based on the enrolment, to the schools where there are no teachers so that there will not be any schools in the state functioning without teacher. For this purpose, the teachers recruited through DSC-2012 may be reposted/redployed to the '0' teacher schools and needy schools as per RTE norms. Similarly, schools without any enrolment can be merged to nearby schools. The process should be completed before 31-04-2013.
